"New York is a city of characters." I couldn't agree more. "One in 8 Million," is a current New York Times feature profiling a wide array of New Yorkers' (in their words) "passions and problems, relationships and routines, vocations and obsessions." One I found particularly interesting was a profile on Jesse Villaneuva, the manager of sneaker-junkie style-haven, Alife Rivington Club.
What caught my attention were the shots of Jesse on Rivington Street, which brought me back. Wow, Lindemann Pharmacy is still there! That used to be my pharmacy - haha. The things we remember... Here are some of the featured shots:
