ABOUT L15T3N:
L15T3N was born of an obsession with sound. Having lived through countless years of "shot in the dark" advertising, I noticed an opening where sound could truly compliment powerful creative to help drive the message forward, not just serve as an insignificant backdrop, as I so often observed. I decided to do something about it, using my experience in the field.
So, why L15T3N and not "LISTEN?" Simple. L15T3N is "hacker code" for LISTEN. And that's what we're trying to do - hack the system and imbed in originality and authenticity into the game.
ABOUT (the Founder) ABE:

One of my earliest memories was trading my shiny, new harmonica for the wonder of what was a simple tuning fork in pre-school. I was amazed by this simple tool. From there I moved on to piano lessons at the Henry Street Settlement and my obsession with sound was set off. A Casio keyboard followed, which I toted everywhere I went (eventually fell in love with the SK-1 sampler - used to ride the bus with my Grandma and sampled sounds and conversations and remixed them on the spot!).
I've been as intrigued and fulfilled with anything audio since as far back as my memory goes. I remember trying to scratch on my Fisher-Price turntables and ruined all of my little brothers' Sesame Street and Disney records - I hear about that `til this day.
I am a native New Yorker, born and raised on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Broome Street to be exact. But, my Lower East Side was different. I had Ratners, the legendary Jewish Deli. I bought the latest vinyl at Bates Record Shop on Delancey Street. You really didn’t have to go much farther than Delancey or Orchard streets for much. Gen 1 Red/Black Jordans, Lee Suits, Kangols, Cazals, etc. all just a couple of blocks from home base. Somachs, on Clinton Street was the ultimate toy store. My LES? It’s changed, as things/people generally do, including me. With that said, you can take the boy out of the Lower East Side, but you... Well you get it.
The late Master Percussionist, Mr. Luis Andino
I most recently had the honor of studying hand percussion under the inimatble Cuban Master Percussionist, Mr. Luis Andino (RIP) who instilled in me the intimate relationship between music and mathematics.
After over a decade at some of the top ad agencies in the world, the love of my life (patient as she was) came calling. This time, I answered.
Music, you are my everything...
